Not very original

I'd like to say I liked it. I usually like parodies of things I like. What put me off about it was that it was basically a copy of the beginning of the game itself. That is, there was no story quirks or real jokes that set it apart from the storyline of OOT. I mean, the ocarina of doom is different I guess, and obviously the main character, but apart from that there wasn't much more to be found.
The voice acting was decent (but more like "Legend of Pickles the Drummer") and the animation was not bad, but if you want to set it apart from other Zelda parodies you'll have to write a little more unique stuff into it.

heheh

Adorably funny. Also, if I had a quarter for every time that happened to me, I'd have less than 5 but more than 3 quarters.

lol, so you would have 1000 dollars right? :P Thanks for the review dude, I am glad you enjoyed it.

WELL...

I thought it was funny and the voice acting was superb (as usual), but it was far too short to be a flash deserving more than a 4 score. You know, it's good and all, but I'm sure many flash artists are resentful that this very small movie is so successful.

I liked it.

The fact that it had a story and all... but the graphics were not very good, and I think you should use trace bitmap a little less. If you do, at least don't stretch the image out a bunch and make it all pixelly. I know it can be a bit much to draw every single thing, but give the art some more effort. I did like it, though.

mixed feelings

I don't know what it is I didn't like. It was probably a number of things. First off, the animation was supreme, and it must have taken much effort to do this. But I just didn't like some of the aspects, mainly the music and the shaky-as-hell camera. It felt like a videogame, which i guess is what you were going for. But while I thought it was good, professional level animation, some of it just didn't do it for me.

finally!

This is the start of a pretty great series. The art and design were very good, and i liked that they were solid throughout. I found that the part with the bearded Alex in the test tube was quite an inappropriate source of humor for me. Agreeing with everyone else who viewed this, the shaky camera was a quite unsatisfying attempt to add realism. I must say I disliked it, but I believe that, with moderation, it could be a clever touch.

One of the few things I saw and was troubled with was her mouth. I don't know why but I found error with it. I think perhaps it's that it is very low on her face, or something. If you could take a look at it I would appreciate that for the next, or even the third, episode. Overall, though, and I say this assuming some of the stranger aspects will eventually be explained, it was a satisfying start to a compelling series. Just try not to be like Lost; actually explain some of the series' twists.

it wasn't bearded alex, it was a dude. the facial structure and suit was the same. you guys are crazy.

This is great

Very funny. I loved this, especially the conversation between the two work buddies. And I have to agree with everyone, that bunny was adorable. But I lol'd when he told it to go and play with a doberman. Good show, old bean!

My god

That's awesome. That song is so long and annoying, yet i was compelled by the video to continue watching. I love guitar hero, so this is right in my court (what?). It's hilarious.

hahaha

I thought this was kind of dumb (it went on forever!) but whats even funnier is the reviews here. I loved the lip syncing and black anime man. They're mostly forgetting that you created the Phoenix Wrong universe. Nice.

AshfordPride responds:

I didn't make Phoenix Wrong.

You're thinking of illwillpress.

you know i kind of liked this

I'm not much a fan of sprite movies, either. I liked that you had good grammar (like most sprite movies don't) and you put some effort into it (like some sprite movies don't have.) I didn't like, however, the use of stock, overused sound effects, like the punch sound and the scream. Otherwise, it was a good enough length to keep me interested and not close it too early. Good job.
